  • All that just to produce an extremely uncomfortable fabric.

  • You might want to try the fleece fabric used in jackets and vests. Can't get much more comfortable than this! Today, much of it is made with recycled plastic.

  • @jpanettiere I went to one of these factories when I went to China. China uses a lot of coal so yes it is not good, however the few companies that use this method in other countries like the US and canada are self sufficent in using energy.

  • When you consider all of the heated elements in the process, and how much fuel is consumed to generate that heat, along with the fuel cost for transporting and processing the plastic to begin with, you have to wonder if this is really conserving oil.

  • im guessing those machines produce a multitude of different products. Hard to believe all that equipment is used to just make polyester yarn.
