  • after 5 years apart no hug or handshake between the 2 brothers ?

  • After all they've been through, you can tell by the smile/smirk on Bobby's face that he was pleased JR came home.

  • @weststaroil Not sure, but I think the old man in the painting was Grandpappy Southworth (Miss Ellie's father) who was original owner of Southfork. I would think Clayton Farlow would insist on living in his own house, not Jock's. Hell, SF covered 100,000 acres, so there was enough room for each Ewing/Farlow to build their own homes on family land. Ironically, "half-breed" Ray was the only Ewing besides Ellie that Jock left SF land to. He sold it TWICE to Carter McKay!

  • @shelton705 I think the fire "swelled" the living room & dining room! I do prefer the '85 redecorations to SF. Although the previous decor was nice, there was a kind of old/frumpy look in the living room (ugly little statues on fireplace, in cabinet by entry door) & the dining room was too sparce & kitchen doors were ugly. Yes, the '85 redo resulted in a more cluttered look, which was probably too much. I did like the color scheme (blue sofa, opening of side doors to expose colors).

Actually, Southfork was expanded at the start of the 83/84 season. It was during the remodel after the fire. Personally, I thought Southfork looked its best during that time. The changes they made in 85/86 was darker wood trim around the entryways and a more cluttered look in the living room.

  • Guys can someone find the scene where there was a setup by Mckay on Jr.

  • @MisterMisc yeh thanks for the reply i wonder who owns it now...

  • @opendtuning True enough. Larry Hagman owned the original (which doesn't include the fence and Southfork) and it was sold at auction in June 2011 for $31k plus taxes. Too bad it wasn't used for this production.

  • HAHAHAHAA LUUUUUUUUUUUV IT...JR RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUULLLLZZ

  • Not a very convincing scene.
