  • Hannibal and Ceasar did not live at the same time.

  • @Kaeladino Agree, sorry for calling you something bad.

Cyrus The Great was a great ruler, and so was Alexander The Great.

All civilizations have great times and bad times.

  • @Kaeladino Thats my point you retard.

The cavalry was of no use because of the mountains and the river.

The Persians did not outnumber the greeks 700 to 1. The greeks had 8000 soldiers and the Persians arround 120000. As you said, it was a pass so numbers have almost nothing to say..

In the battle of Thymbra 80000 Persians led by Cyrus The Great won against and army of 150 000 Lydian greeks mainly because of cavalry.

I am not discrediting greek soldiers. They where awesome.

  • @Kaeladino Shut up and read some history... Geezez is it so hard to understand that Hollywood movies are not representing the real history.

The greeks lost arround 1500 soldiers, the persians 5000. If you consider that the persians had awesome cavalry, but not so good infantry and still managed to win at Thermopylhia its actually a good victory.

  • @TenTonTommy777

Historians write biasedly too! Not factly.

Afterall, History is written by the victors.

Do you honestly expect Persia to write how the Greeks fought with courage if Xerxes won?

    I very much doubt it.

  • LOL @ Greeks fighting naked... thats retarded, and the dumbest thing i ever heard

someone is lacking in common sense.......

  • @WolfytheWolf5667

you saw "paintings" about naked spartans so that makes it true??

the spartans wore full fledged armour in battle...they trained naked..big difference

if they really fought naked then would be decimated..for future reference use historic fact not paintings of artist's and their romantic view..there's a reason why they aren't historians lol ^^

  • @WolfytheWolf5667 no they wore armour they were pictured naked to show them with extreme courage

  • @EduardoElSexypants right u mean "states" , "citys" would be correct term here right ?

    yea u right .

  • @sexyxrs if you say so
