3) Miraculous Comeback to Concert stage by Smt Radha Viswanathan, daughter , disciple and vocal accompanist of MS for 50 years, after a long period of debilitating illness.

4) S.Aishwarya, (aged 13 years and studying in eighth Std ),Great Grand Daughter of Smt M.S.Subbulakshmi , accompanies her Grandmother.

Aishwarya has been learning Carnatic Music from her 4th year with her Grandmother. From her 5th to 7th year she was also trained by Sharanya Krishnan , disciple of Smt Suguna Purushottaman . She is currently under the tutelage & guidance of Karnataka Kalashree, Vidushi Jambu Kannan, since 2002.

Aishwarya has also been learning the Veena since 2005 from Vidwan A Shankar Raman , disciple of Late Rajeshwari Padmanabhan (of the illustrious Karaikudi Baani)

no one must have done this before radhaaji :) solos, duo with mother, and now with granddaughter too . . :) All the songs, specially from Balaji PanchaRatnaMala, would not have been so nice without Radhaaji's backup (that's my belief) :)

Zeal,that Zeal to sing.That Zeal to excel to perform at a very late age.After suffering illness and then getting back on stage and then giving a great performance,If it is not the love for her music what else is it?I was so moved by her story.We all have our own problems in our lives but this person is giving a lesson of a life time,"enjoy every moment of your life no matter how many problems you face,never give up and never let go".

Radha is an intellectual soul and she is on par with MS in several ways. Only she and alone she can provide the vocals perfect to the core and fusion to MSS's Bhava laden nadamrutha. In my opinion the Madras Music academy failed to acknowledge this legend and confer the Sangeetha Kala Nidhi on this living Maestro of MS bhani. I wish all MSS's conoisseurs.

I wish her all good health and strongly URGE her to pass on her treasures to good few disciples who could be the torch bearers of MSS..

This is 6 Kattai Sruthi and Smt Radha hits the Higher Gandharam perfectly. At her age and with her history of illness she must be putting atleast 50 times more effort than a normal singer. Ekalathilum Markamatom Amma Ungalai !

The Poorvi Kalyani Raga Alapanai is unbelievable and sung with so much feeling . Nobody sings like this nowadays. Makes me wonder why Mami had disappeared from the Music scene all these years.

One can clearly make out the Semmangudi bani in the alapana & her flawless rendition of gamakas n brigas with utmost perfection is truly an eye opener .. I pray God to bless mami with long life and health so that we can atleast get a chance to imbibe a bit of knowledge from this great vidhushi ...

Whenever i heard mami give an alapana may be from an MS amma's concert or her solo perfoprmance which was rare I always wondered how did she train herself in such a span of time to sing exactly as MS amma .. but 2day i realize that it is her pure saadhakam & hardwork which has given so much strength to present a concert 2day despite of her illness .
