How to do the NRG-500 Challenge at the very beginning of the game - GTA San Andreas

01:23 -- I jump gate at Los Santos International

01:45 -- I get into the Dodo and take off toward San Fierro

04:14 -- I begin the NRG-500 Challenge

07:48 -- I jump over the waterway at the Flint Intersection from Flint County into Los Santos

This is a simple demonstration on how to do the NRG-500 Challenge at the very beginning of the game.
NO CHEATS and no mods were used.
This is a completely legitimate game.

There are no edits in this video... what you see is what actually happened.

Here are the details:
The video starts off as a brand new game... Carl is still in the alley that Tenpenny and Pulaski had just thrown him in; none of the Story Missions have been done yet.

I drove directly to Los Santos Airport and jumped into a Dodo.

I flew to San Fierro and completed the NRG-500 Challenge.
New Best Time 1:29

Here are some helpful hints for completing the NRG-500 Challenge:

1) Bike Skill does nothing to improve the speed or handling of any vehicle, it only decreases your chances of falling off as much, nothing more.

Speed and handling comes from your own personal skill... so it's something that you control completely (based on the uniqueness of each individual model of motorbike and/or scooter).

2) You can increase your speed by rapidly pressing the control to Lean Forward/Steer Down as you're accelerating. This will give you more than enough speed to climb the walls of the basin and reach the coronas... and you don't need to start from a great distance to do this either, which helps improve your Best Time.

3) Learn how to properly use the Steer Forward/Back controls while you're in the air. That way you can land on two wheels when you come back down... that'll give better control and keep you from falling off as much.

@ZMOONCHILD How did you do that? Cause if you wanna complete this you have to have best bike skills? But in beggining of game?

Higher Bike Skill only keeps CJ from falling off as much. Speed and handling are always the same regardless at what the Bike Skill level is at.

Also, I used the technique where I repeatedly tapped the control to lean forward/steer down; doing that will greatly increase the speed of any motorbike in the game.

Yes, there are two NRG-500 motorcycles in Los Santos, but the NRG-500 Challenge is located in San Fierro only, not Los Santos.

It's the fastest cycle in the game. If you hit the accelerator @ full throttle, it will pop a wheelie everytime.

Yes, there are two NRG-500 motorbikes in Los Santos, but neither of them would help in completing the NRG-500 Challenge in San Fierro. This video is about completing the NRG-500 Challenge in Easter Bay.
