Dennis Prager may be the greatest man of our time. his clarity on the great issues of life has earned him a very special place in the hearts of many.

In this, he discusses the issue of Comparing yourself to other people. You shouldn't, but people do it anyways. And he quotes the mother of his best friend Joseph, Helen, "The only happy people I know are people I don't know well"

Once you get to know people, you know a whole host of issues that affect them and their lives daily, and it should humble you to know that you are not exceptional to life's problems.

  • Yet another Prager video that is no longer available. What is going on with this? Is this Youtube censorship or the individual who posted it? Or is it copy write infringement?

  • I think one reasons has to do with the fact that prager university will be launching soon, and they want all traffic diverted in that direction.

  • The comments attacking Dennis Prager show just how uninformed and ignorant people can be. ANYBODY who has listened to Dennis Prager for even ONE WEEK will know what a fair open-minded host he is. He is, imo, the most profound radio host on the air today - he really has no competition.

  • Absolutely true. Prager is (and I hardly ever use this word frivolously) a genius. I almost always do say, however, say to those that have never heard Dennis before that if the world was a village, Dennis Prager would be one its wise men.

  • Pomiferous. Your wrong! Tarp passed in the house 223-205. That's not bipartisan dumbass. You are probably a bush supporter.

  • @bobcrunch The Tarp actually had bipartisan support.Unlike the stimulis and health care one sided, monsterous, crap

    sandwiches.

  • @bobcrunch Had Bush still been there he would have approved bailouts and virtually any other politician would have too, b/c that is what the puppet masters pulling their strings wanted.

  • @jnicholas1980 Bush approved of TARP, not any bailouts. Virtually all TARP funds were repaid with interest. People confuse TARP with bailouts. TARP funds were used to help financial institutions through temporary liquidity problems. However, Democrats never returned the TARP refunds to the Treasury. They retained them as a slush fund. Democrats were responsible for ALL bailout funding that just disappeared without a trace. The Democrats and Obama screwed GM bondholders in behalf of GM unions.

  • @bobcrunch Also - US auto makers suffered because of better quality imports. Let's be honest - the US makers produced a lot of poor quality, poor reliabity products starting in the 1970s and into the 80s - although the quality of their products has greatly improved for many consumers their image is still tarnished. I for one would happily buy a US made auto today - but a couple of decades ago I would have felt otherwise.

  • @bobcrunch Don't forget those bailouts began under Bush and continued with the new administration (as they would have with any administration b/c that is what their corporate overlords wanted). What hurt GM mostly was obviously the sudden decline in auto sales b/c of the economic downturn. I don't pretend that unions are perfect or agree with every position they take, but let's not forget what labor conditions were like in the country before unions.

  • @jnicholas1980 Government bailouts are a totally different matter. Previously, you’ve never brought up that factor. GM should have gone through formal bankruptcy procedures. AIG was a HUGE contributor to Obama. The bailouts didn’t cure the underlying problems. GMs main problem was management giving in to union pressure for the sake of political expediency. Government meddling was the main culprit to the present (if not all) economic problems. California has recently added over 450 more regs.

  • @bobcrunch By the way, I'm self employed, make a decent living and ever so grateful I do not have to depend on some corporation that views people as nothing more than a commodity to be used and discarded for a living. That, however, does not blind be to the fact that absolute greed are what is ruining this country.

  • @bobcrunch I'm not unhappy and fact of the matter is that I live in a solidly red state. I just told you that both parties are horrilbe so that makes me some left winger to you b/c I disagree with you. Corporate greed is and corporate control of government is what is ruining this country and folks like you just don't get it. The CEO of Toyota last year earned just a bit over one million, but the CEO of GM earns tens of millions, a company that had to be bailed out, that make any sense to you?

  • @jnicholas1980 I would judge that you've never had a serious conversation with a "Right Winger" in your life. You live in the Left-wing bubble suffered by elitist, insular Lamestream Media and Academia who only talk with each other and dismiss all outside opinions. Maybe if you listened to Dennis for a while it would have some influence. Most of our problems are self caused. You’ll continue to be very unhappy if you believe that all your problems are caused by outside forces.
