Most Forgotten people of History

This video is developed by OBAT Helpers (OBATHelpers.org). This is about the most forgotten people of the history, who are sufferring since last couple decades.
The Stateless Stranded Pakistanis who are also referred as Biharis, have a population of almost 250 thousand. They are settled in more than 60 camps in different cities of Bangladesh. The history goes back to the partition of India in 1947. They are mostly from the Indian state of Bihar, who moved to East Pakistan (present Bangladesh)during partition in 1947.

In 1971 the civil war led to the creation of Bangladesh. Due to the law & order situations these people compelled to accommodate in 66 temporary camps across the country. They never thought that this will be their permanent home for couple decades. What are the future of these people. Pakistan and Bangladesh need to resolve this issue. Can we help them?

As a Bangladeshi Muslim I'm saddened to see this poor condition in which our fellow brothers/sisters are living in. But what can we Bangladeshis do when they don't want to be a part of Bangladesh?

We need to provide them education and self empowerement. We need to bring this issue into lime light and ask Pakistan and Bangladesh Govt to sit down and resolve this issue. We are thankful to the Govt of Bangladesh for providing facilities and assistance as much they can since last 35 years. Actually the responsibility of all these people goes to Pakistan Govt. They have to comeup with a solution for the future of these stranded people with the help of Bangladesh Govt.

As a Pakistan I am so ashamed. I feel so sorry for these true Pakistanis. I will feel this pain for my whole life. Wish i can come to them someday and say sorry to them and help them. With love and sorry from Punjab, Pakistan.

Thanks to those of you who are helping these people. I'm Bengali myself and am ashamed these stateless Biharis have received such a raw deal. ALL stateless, oppressed people on earth should have someone to fight for them. No exceptions.

great comment faisal, this clip failed to give any of the political background, this situation does not exist in a vacuam. its not really about bangladesh, its about pak irresponsibility and abandonment of its own people. also for the old man in the clip to say bangladesh has not done anything is strange keeping in mind that they were offered bang.. citizenship whic their leaders refused.

It's sad that people are living in this horrible situation...not only biharis, lots of bangadeshis are also living like this...but the thing is these people don't like bengalis,they don't want to be bangladeshi citizens, and over all during the libration war, they took side with pakistan..i guess they rather go to pakistan and live as "mohajer". i know lots of bihari or urdu speaking people who are living comfortabley in bangladesh.

Because the Pakistani govt has been without soul or conscience for decades and decades! Its not only the fact that they are so stingy and have such less room in their hearts for these poor fellow Muslims from Bihar who took their side in 1971. Its also that that so many Pakistanis are so racist towards what they view as these 'darkies'... :( God save our sinful society!

its really a shame! does not matter,wat nationality one belongs to,the botton line still is,THESE PPL ARE INDIANS! by ethnic,and,as such,need assistances,and it does not matter,if from pakistan,balgdesh or INDIA! its a shame,that it got be THE WESTERNER PPL TO CHIP IN AND HELP OUT,JUST LIKE MOTHER TERESA DID,,MY GOD,WAT SORT OF PPL ARE THOSE..?ITS INDEED A SHAME
