Farewell to Dr Goh Keng Swee

The state funeral for the former Deputy Prime Minister, Dr Goh Keng Swee was held at the Singapore Conference Hall. Drapped with the state flag, the coffin mounted on a special gun carriage made a short, silent journey from Singapore's Parliament House where the late Dr Goh's body had been lying-in-state for three days.

Though the marcia funebre from Beethoven's Eroica symphony would have been more appropriate music befitting the stature of one of SE Asia's pantheon of heroes, I am sure the amazing GKS would be just as happy to have Amazing Grace played at his funeral.RIP.
