Chef Achatz had to battle tongue cancer recently. That's like telling a painter he may have to lose his hand!! Luckily, his cancer's currently in remission. You can find more information by googling his name. There are articles about him on Maxim, Men's Vogue, etc.

i joined numerous cooking contest, representing r school later the establishment im working.and i always play with foam and gels,.with the inspiration of Chef achatz's style and plating i won numerous cooking contest. sadly molecular gastronomy did not yet reach the phils..i would realy want to learn Spheres and the using of liquid nitros.but we cant..those technology cant be found here in the phils. thats y if i wil be given the chance to work in alinea, i wil work for free thats my passion:)

im a foodie myself, working in a hotel kitchen here in the fils...Chef Achatz is my Favorite chef in the world... and if im given the chance,,, i will work in his resto for free,,, i reli love him and his story,,,yes....and before i bumped into cooking im already a DJ in parties...hu loves deep house and electro it makes me love him more the moment i knew that they were the ones who made the mix of the track played at the back ground real genius... my idol!!!
