Analog and Kertezs, REFERENCES!!!
The British were the first (Linn) to show the importance of sound from turnables. Ivor Tiefennbrun, from Linn, preached this "Gospel" to great effect! The British audio mags acknowledged this fact soon. I tried for myself and know how Ivor and British reviewers were ahead of their time.
Then came Rega and made the concept much more democratic w great turntables for affordable prices!!!!

I got this record a few ye4ars ago from a friend who does boot sales and flogs his stuff at record fairs, and on eBay etc...
I don't mind at all about the dedication (except that I've watched the video and can't see the dedi). It is a great video. A record man I used to buy from cleaned every record he got on one of these before it went on sale. They are a bit pricey, but once I have upgraded my cartridge/phono stage, it'll be worth it!

BTW I have dedicated my recent "episode 3" to you - hope you don't mind.

The very first video I posted was a run through of the contents of the London Records stereo demo. London were part of Decca at the time, by the way. Nowadays, Decca are pargt of Universal I think.
Re: A Journey Into Stereo Sound - London Record is the title of my video.
Do you have anymore classical lp's to upload? Would be nice if there were more Decca SXL's on line...

I do have. I am awaiting a new phono stage so after that has bed in for a bit I will see what I can do, Otterhouse.

@otterhouse I have uploaded an extract of Resphigi's Fountains Of Rome. Alas, 'tis not an SXL - a mere Classics For Pleasure budget EMI jobbie. The SXL's were so entertaining.

Once again YT has worked its magic and totally gunked up the sound. The surface noise is nowhere near as apparent on the aiff recording I made. There is a little print through on the record, but YT has made a real hash up of the background noise, which is really non-existent. I will megaupload this audio (only the Kodaly bit). If you want the link, please let me know. I think its a bit blatant c'right abuse to put it up for all and sundry!

The dedi is in the text accompanying the video!
Keep posting, and until I get my pro-ject turntable I am green with envy at your Rega ;-)

I know - I found it! I was watching on your channel page so I didn't see it. But I have now. Once again thanks! If that is a DD machine you have, you will find the whole speed stability more satisfying than with belt drives, although the Regas are incredibly musical. Hope to upgrade to a Goldring 1042/Clearaudio Smart phono phonostage soon. It's my birthday soon, if I have any rich subscribers :P
