Go with a torp setup really, with the right fit you will do 1350dps up to ~40km and 1000 at ~65km

i used to be able to complete the mission+loot and salvage the battleships in under 15 minutes regularly with torp golem. personal record was under 12

You will oneshot cruisers and BC's and sometimes 2shot BS's. That's the way to go. The point of fitting a mission ship is max dps not mofo tank. Any smart mission runner will go all out on damage mods and keep a tank enough to survive.
