  • automatic or manual? i have a 1990 ford f150 2wd 5 speed and when you hit the throttle in 2nd it will chirp like nothing

  • @1990fordf150custom

This was when it had a C6 auto.

  • Did the cam affect your mileage?

  • @saxbros

It gets roughly 17mpg, so it's better than stock. If you put this cam in an otherwise 300, you wouldnt notice much loss in mileage. I'd guess .1mpg loss.

  • Did you lose much low end?

  • @saxbros

On this truck, the power is coming in right as the stock torque converter is grabbing. Any loss in low end is not noticed. It may be a little more noticeable with a manual trans, but it's not all that big of a cam, and it has a choppy idle, so I would buy this cam for my truck. Mine is the red one in my other videos(300, open header).

  • @Thinker669 Sounds like an Inline :)

  • Wow!!! You noticed that the 6 cyl sounds like a 6 cyl!!!! What was your first clue?

  • yea you should go with a bigger diameter. would help take away some of that ricey sound and make it sound deeper
