Master Mundell Lowe! I met him in Berlin some years ago. His funny announcement: "My name is Roy Rogers." LOL Great!
Thanks for posting this beautiful duet.

Troppo bravi e tanto gustosi. Oggi giorno si fa fatica sentire suonare in questa maniera. Grande Louis e Mundell.

It is alaways great to hear Mundells playing which was as good a fit to Bill Evans piano playing as Jim Halls. I was quite surprised to hear Mundells identifying his daughter as the Debby of Bills beast known tune "Waltz for Debby". Time and again Debby has been ID'd as Bills Niece which I would expect most people would presume was his older brother Harry's daughter. This is a fascinating bit of generally overlooked history that I have not previously seen in any Bios, Liner notes or elsewhere.

The only recording I know of is called "The Touch of Tony Scott".I don't know if either one has any solo space as I don't have the recording. it's listed in the excellent Peter Pettinger book on Bill,"How my Heart Sings" RCA Victor LPM 1353, Vinyl and I think extremely hard to find. hope this helps
