TIM RUSSERT David Gregory "All of us are in shock" 6-13-08

Tim Russert died Friday afternoon of a heart attack while in the newsroom at NBC headquarters in Washington, DC. He died doing the thing he loved the most- readying himself for another edition of Sunday morning's Meet the Press.

David Gregory came up under Tim Russert's guidance at the Washington News Bureau of NBC.

I heard that Brian Williams will chair Meet The Press this Sunday, 22 June, 2008. But I think David Gregory gets my vote for permanent host of the show. He's a natural for the job. Go David!

I too would like to see his last interview with John Harwood. Maybe they will show it this Sunday on Meet The Press.

I want to see that show of the clip of Tim at the beginning, with John Harwood. It was taped hours before he died, his last show. They've yet to air it.
