Even the non-Japanese food is good in Japan. Especially the French pastries....

Yeah, they are really into food in Japan. Some of the food stores are really big, with tons of fresh fish and sushi and such. The prices are not too bad considering the quality. The lifespan of the Japanese is pretty high! :-)

Fantastic.. there is no place like a japanese food hall. sooooo much choice. gastronomical heaven. If I wasnt eating I was thinking about my next meal.

I like good, slooooow narration and loooong, sloooow pans over the stuff.

To you all it's boring, possibly, but to foreigners? It's interesting and we do like to be told exactly what we are looking at.

Funny I often have exchange students in, and very often they are shocked at our markets. Mostly how inexpensive every thing is. I have only ever heard objections because we had to go to a fish monger for octopus.
