I don't actually use it for illustration work beyond instruction concepts. You're right when it comes to a scanner...which I have handy when it's time for serious work in PS.

Hey thanks for posting this. I'm an artist and have considered getting one for my doodles. Will it export to jpg (say I wanted to bring it into Illustrator and finish the illo)?
