  • Who is the idiot that disliked this video???

  • Last week one of my students finished an MMA match with a very similar setup. Tore the guys LCL with a partial tear of the Achilles. Search my vids for Justin Decker. You can also see many other leg lock finishes in MMA as well as techniques and setups used in MMA.

  • @hitlergoonie4life whats all this shit about 30 year old fat guys and ex military dudes...? haha this dudes crazy

  • @hitlergoonie4life shut up you goober...its not on me if the doucher im throwing a lock on turns the wrong way...i dont wanna hurt anyone..but thats not on me,...stfu

  • @DiscipleOfPog When competing at a high level, it is the goal. You're watching one small part of an entire DVD out of context. This is a preview clip. Ryan doesn't advocate destroying people's knees in training or local tournaments.

  • @DiscipleOfPog I think if you compete at the level that he does you kind of have to take that mentality going in. The guys he's fighting aren't going to panic and tap, you really do need to put them in fear of their safety.

  • I think Ryan Hall is a really great teacher but I don't like the way he encourages blasting the heel hook and makes it seem like destroying a guys knee is the goal.

  • @RightWingCon81 I'm pretty short @ 5'8/stocky build. I have short legs and arms but I really like leglocks and find them to be pretty high percentage for me. One thing to consider is that different leg lacings/positions work better/differently for different leg locks. Also, you should practice your leglock entries and pinching your knees/getting in deep enough on the leg a lot. Once you're good at maintaining position there, working your preferred finish is easy.

  • HIS IS GREAT IF YOU HAVE LONG SKINNY LEGS LIKE rYAN, i CAN'T FINISH MOST STRAIGHT ANKLE LOCKS BECAUSE PEOPLE BY PAS MY BLOCKING FOOT LIKE IT;S NOT THERE, i HAVE STUBBY LEGS.
