  • For those who have practiced how to handle knife in various different situations, it's more effective to get in close because they know how to handle them in close range. If you distanced yourself, a person can still swing a knife at you a lot of times, and if you lose balance while backing up, the pressure is on you and you can end up getting effed.

  • I have knife fought...unfortunately...the instructor here is right...hesitation is what gets you cut. Most use a knife to stay at a distance. When rushed in, you can over control them. I always wield my blade reverse grip, and have a parry blade as well. Most techniques displayed here are not only usable, but totally reality based.

  • I've been watching this guy's stuff since last night, and i can only say that he is TOO good. Was he born the exact moment Bruce Lee died?

  • I'm no stranger to street fighting but no knives have ever been involved. I'm "self taught" (that's the hard way...) but my family history seems to show some natural talent in these areas. Anyway that's my creds and I'll tell you what - this guy knows what he is doing. Notice he can dial up the speed easily. He really knows it. Notice it's all leverage.

  • What is this technique called? Btw, amazing videos. Good job

  • There is a lot of knife fighting in bar fights. You should know how to defend yourself in these situations.

  • You should NEVER be close to the person with a knife... you always want something in between you and the knife, a chair, a coat rack, whatever you have. And if you are knife fighting, you are probably gonna get cut alittle bit, what I have learned about knife fighting is it's never perfect win usually, both usually get cut, but the winner is just cut less and in an area that won't be fatal.

  • some badass knife skills...

You'e right. I just got these KA-BAR knives today, so this video is quite useful.
