  • Very good performance, although I am not sure what language she is singing in. Could someone please clarify that.

  • @rask888 She's singing in Norwegian.

  • Since I don't speak Japanese, I can't be certain, but I believe the word "sukiyaki" has been substituted in this song where it doesn't belong. I'm a huge fan of the song and of Kyo Sakamoto who made it famous back in the sixties when I was a teenager. I'm also a fan of Sissel so word substitution doesn't really matter. I just wonder why anyone felt a need to made the change.

  • @jnvyoral Actually the word sukiyaki does not exist in the original version at all. This, like many of the "translations" of Oe wo muite aroko, has used the word sukiyaki as a link to the original as it was launched on the American marked as Sukiyaki. This is more a song about the original song than a real translation.

"I hear the wind humming Sukiyaki", "The song from the land of the rising sun" and so on.

  • Like this singer and her voice, is she popular in Norway?

  • @undinaful Схе\с ......Better select the correct keyboard driver..., was Googling for Валерия...

She's a princess, if you get my drift.

  • @undinaful You could say that. Try look up soundtrack from Titanic. No it is not Celine Dion who sing the ouverture, It is Sissel. She is actualy a world famous singer. ;-)

  • @undinaful Considered one of the best sopranos in the world and popular worldwide. Look her up on wikipedia.
