This is my 1947 Delta Uni-saw just after I got her up and running. When I got the saw, the motor would not spin up and run. This saw has the original Repulsion - induction "bullet" motor on it. This motor has 4 brushes mounted to a ring that is held by the end cap away from the pulley side. I had to clean the brush holder, sand the armature, and re-cut the mica slots between the copper bars. This did the trick and she runs great now.

  • How much is this saw worth?

  • @dkonvicka My saw has a clean base that has not been cut for dust collection or a new motor. Plus, I have the original motor and super rare cast iron motor cover. One more plus is that the original switch is still on it. However, my top and one wing has been drilled with 4 holes. That said, prices vary, but mine may be anywhere from $250 to $500, without the top damage, $500 - $750
