One of Louisville's oldest neighborhoods is a hotbed for culture including a unique annual festival built around a German child's game. From bacon donuts to rolled oysters, we explore the historic nooks & crannies and pubs & taverns of Germantown.
Interesting video. I found it odd that with the exception of Hauck's, the businesses you showcased are newer additions to the hood. Most long-term residents have never eaten at Eiderdown or partied at Zanabar (and I keep meaning to check out Greenhaus....) But we've all had a beer at Check's or chowed down on fried chicken at Flabby's. But that's not necessarily a bad thing as I'm guessing your audience is young and hopefully they will come out and support our local businesses! Good job.
