my cat died to, we think it was from lukemia but we're not sure, and the day/night he died was the same night they told me my cancer had come back for the 2nd time

I'm really sorry about your cat.
My cat died about 2 weeks ago. He was at the same age as yours and black as well.
I'm going back home for Christmas and I find it really hard to realize that he won't be around anymore. He developed cancer in his liver 3 months ago and we did everything we could to save him, but his condition was deteriorating day by day.
At least I hope he doesn't suffer anymore...

I am sorry for your loss.
He just like my black kitten batman. My old cat Leo I had since he was a kitten till he was passed away at 16 from Cancer. I know how it feels to loose a beloved cat.
