Crystal have you used the freeze dried yogurt. The little box has 6 little packages and the box states that it will make 6 quarts, however I am on my 8th batch with one little packet of yogurt starter. I clean everything to start with but because you are using powdered milk you can start with hot water (about 115) mix up the milk add the yogurt starter and incubate. I use a little lunch size igloo hard plastic place my jars of yogurt in the igloo with hot tap water for about 8 hours.
