@DanteMerusso I am trying the same on the free open source Blender software. You can design or get a ship once you download it. has Plenty of tutorials to design your own. And there is a game engine there. Download the latest Blender now

Use this for a pirate ship game. You can have 2 or more of them blasting away at eachother with multiple users using seperate joysticks.

o cool ur makeing an interior. i was talkimng about making one side of the ship and refeclting it to other. i didnt no that there was an inside so i guess it wont work. awsome still

glad you like it...still in a early version...rebuilding my laptop right now, which is my main blender machine...hopefully up in a few days...nothing special done here, just a lot of time, and studying of pirate ships. My wife was in the hospital a few days, and while she slept, I non-stop blended, picked an object and just wanted to see how far I could go. Hoping to upload some animations with it too...I use to make blender tut's back in the day, may make some video ones soon.

Thanks for the compliment.....still needs alot of work including the inside, other details and characters to run the ship. Planning to put in a music video in the next few months.

??? are you talking about the exterior structure? build half - then model?...works better on characters....on a structure like this I prefer building from a whole, which really loses no time modeling...certain pieces were copied and pasted...I assume that is what you are commenting on. Interior will be modeled in a way relational to exterior walls.
...or are you talking about the reflection?
