On 13 March 2010, renowned UK multimedia artists, D-Fuse, collaborated with young Indonesian film-makers, photographer, and writer. They went on to 'destroy' one of Indonesia's cherised historical sites.
45,000 spectators, including the Governor of Jakarta, stood mesmerized as the 300-year old Jakarta History Museum shook and crumbled to the ground... And out of its ashes there arose a new vision... A creative city built a shared vision of how tradition and heritage should always be rediscovered and renewed through new ideas, innovation, and technology.
This is the story of Jakarta Creative City.
