Anne was and is amazing, and lives on... She didn't give henry all her love for nothing... She gave birth to the future Queen Elizabeth the first... Anne's daughter accomplished more than king henry ever did... God bless you Anne

@JuzTudor70AD Please don't think that I took the suggestion of her remaining the mistress lightly. I believe that for her the allure of the position was enticing; and Henry was the "rock star like King". But once she had obtained it, she found the weight of the crown too much to bare. She was the Camilla Parker Bowels of her day. She ended up having a lot of the blame for things that happened stapled to her back. And when she couldn't make good on her promises, the King upgraded.

@menerva4 that's also true but after all the overseas education Anne had, it's very unlikely that she wanna sell herself short as a mistress... oh well, I supposed that Anne's ambitious streak had done her in.
