  • Thats really nice work. Is it the original sound system? I think there is a bit more bass than in the original or am I wrong?

  • All original sound system...cant beat tube audio...

  • What a nice machine...Yes, the Seeburg R is a beautiful sounding machine, especially if a Pickering 34503D is installed :)

I just recieved a sweet AQ160 today with the autospeed unit. Beautiful machine...Seeburgs from the Silver Age are THEEE BEST jukeboxes for style, quality, and above all..sound..I would vouch for that, owning three of them including the R, VL200, and my new Stereo AQ160!

  • Thanks for the praise....the 345 03D is no better then a GOOD red head...Trouble is a good RED HEAD is hard to find.. .so.. .the 345 does sound better then most Red heads...because they have deterioted...

Pickering went out of business and at the end the made a LOT of BAD 345'S i know.... i bought a lot of them before they went out of business... Be careful.... MANY 345's have ONE BAD SIDE... thats why Pickering quit making em...some of the people paying big money for em.. got stuck...

  • jejejeje, wuauuuu.Very nice to sound *Patsy Cline*:Have you ever be lonely

  • I love these units ! Does the term Hi-Fidelity ring a bell ? Back in the late 50's & early 60's some playback devices where actually made to sound Great and judged by the High-Fidelity Institute....this was one of them I believe ! Along with Leslie speaker cabinets, Voice of Music tape recorders & RCA phonographs !

  • My 'R; is being rebuilt by Jim Reid in Wesley Chapel, Fl. Can't wait ti get it back!! The sound is just amazing! Thanks to Mike for posting.

  • Great sounding machine. I've always liked the visible playing mechanism.

  • i did have some old radio record player with tube and it always have a great sound, and some old transistor radio record player also have a great sound and smell.

some high quality receiver have return to the radio tube for great sound quality that was lost with transistor.

  • I looking for repair for my seeburg where are you located im in ky

  • Good to know. I have two 345's and luckily, they sound great. Also noticed that because of the weight of the 345's, you have to adjust the tonearm weight and counter-balance in order for the mech to play and reject both A and B sides correctly.

Great videos, and equal praise back to you from a fellow Seeburg admirer!!
