Apologies for the spelling error of 'pronunciation'.

Jarring diction notwithstanding, there is a glaring error in the articulation of 'Japan'.
While it is commonly misread as 'Jare-pan', as exemplified in this clip, the correct pronounciation should be 'Jer-pan' and its citizens alike are verbalized as 'Jare-per-nese'.
That said, I'm aghast that this clip is endorsed by the relevant authorities. It is certainly far from being an exemplary advocate of the Speak Good English Movement.
In short, C'est Abominable!
