  • In the wake of yet another friend lost to a small plane wreck, I can only say that I have great admiration and respect for all your families. Thank you for taking the steps to make air travel safety a bigger priority for small companies. To all that are lost, you are not forgotten.

  • that looks like the origional pratt and whitney engine, a very old design. usually very reliable. I myself am a fan of the DHC2 Beaver. since there was smoke and oil evident on the fuselage and windows, must have been some explosion. maybe the pilot had increased the throttle too much by accident and caused the manifold to blow. or maybe a gasket shattered or went bad and caused fluid leakage.
