Why would God care about refuting something? Your statement is absurd: divinity, in a believer's eyes, should be truth, and should not consist in discussing truth. God is not a mere proof of your own biological theories.

@dougmoerhoffman Nice try, but there's BIG HOLES in your statement. A "model" to follow you say ? Hmmm. So when he designed us, even though we weren't DESIGNED like him and were destined to get tired anyway, we needed "that" model to follow ? He must have done that "model" thing to the REST of the animal kingdom too. LOLOL

@gblueslover2 Resting was a choice. He took a break not because He was tired; He stopped creating to a) give us a model to follow and b) to refute the idea that God is still creating (evolution).

The whole point was to show us that we're not special because of our position in the universe--we are special if and because God SAYS we're special. That's so we won't worship ourselves or the earth, but worship the God who made it all.
