This is a video of my first working Stirling engine prototype. It was made with hand tools and components available from hardware and dollar stores. There were 3 failed prototypes before this one but I learned a lot from those failures :)
It's easy to make the piston. Coat the inside of the power cylindar pipe with vaseline and pour 1/2 inch of mixed 2 part (60 min) epoxy into the pipe. The vaseline allows you to remove the perfectly fitting piston after the epoxy has dried.
