youre right. the eggs arent that hard to get out, HOWEVER... you can catch them not necessarily by hugging someone but coming in contact with people who do by getting to close in those ways...
i know because i had them when i was younger and many people have gotten them that way. ive talked to people who have and whatever... so yeah. IT IS POSSIBLE!

This is a mistake most people make. You are actually pulling out larvae cases - the molted skins from a louse as it grows larger and from kid to adult. If you put the thing you are pulling from your hair under a low power microscope, you will see. Eggs are stuck to hair using a glue as good as superglue. You would need a specific solvent to part it from the hair.

Wrong! Kids at schools transmit them through contact with each other: hugging. And you cannot remove the eggs - not even with a lice comb. People think they are eggs, but they not: they are larvae cases!
