"I cannot change. I can never not be Juanita Bynum." Translation: I want a husband, but I want to remain single. You want a man that will not require much of you as a wife, while you ignore your God-given duties for the home. Being an evangelist does not absolve you of your responsibilities to your marriage. You must do it all. No, it's not necessary to sit on the front row with a big hat on, but shouldn't you arrange your schedule to faithfully support your husband's ministry? That is how the elder women teach the younger women how to love their "own" husbands. Whether you like it or not, when you become a pastor's wife, you are to be an example to the women of the ministry. Besides, respect, one of the greatest needs of a man is support for what he is doing. Without his wife's full support, he feels less than all he can be. Why was the marriage all about you? Why did he have to accept that you could never not be "Juanita Bynum?" Didn't you change your name to Weeks? Stop making excuses for your behavior. All I ever really wanted to hear from you in this interview is that you were sorry about the harm your low-living did to the cause of Christ. I did not hear you take one iota of responsibility for anything in this entire soap opera. C'mon. It couldn't have been all one man's fault. You apparently authorized someone to upload pictures of your bruises to TMZ.com. How can you say you did not slander the man when you publicized your bruises. Ask yourself this question: Out of all the cases of domestic violence that you were aware of or heard of, did you ever hear of any victim in the church uploading her bruises to a national gossip column? Yet you say if you were such the bad person, he should have never disclosed your faults. Why did you start the whole thing by publicizing the pictures? The covenant was already broken. Stop the lies. This saga unfortunately will continue because she desires to remarry. Isn't it time to stop beating a dead horse. Marriage requires us all to change. You cannot go into a marriage thinking that you can remain the same. I do not agree with the things Weeks did to you. I simply want to see you put Christ first in your life, not yourself. You couldn't give up on your name, "Bynum", what about the power in the name of "JESUS?". Did you give up on that name? You couldn't give up on your family's legacy? What about the legacy Christ and His apostles left as a witness for us? He was wrong about abusing you, but he was right about one thing: You need to get back to God. End of Story
