This was the song my Husband and I danced to in October 1981 at our wedding! we are still together now and have 3 amazing children who we adore...no grand children yet but fingers crossed we will have in the future...:)

This was the first song Peter Lennon and I danced to and we kissed and the whole room disappeared at the top of those Condo's Party room back in 1978 - I was 14 1/2 he was 18 1/2 - an Ontario Provincial A Hockey star goalie who played with Gretzky - I loved him from the first day I met him - 4 years later he was gone at the young age of 21 - 30 years later I still wait to be with him - through all the sadness and the years he is the one true love of my life.....

Lionel Richie is a great song writer and especially love songs, I don't know if he wrote this entirely or if it was a collabaration, but it's one of the best love songs of all time
