  • This video helped me better understand propagation. You made it easy to understand and explained it in simple terms. Thank You for creating this video!

  • @KJ6RFQ I'm very glad to hear that. That's the purpose of all these videos. Thanks for the feedback.

  • I just got myself a FTDX 5000 MP and want a studio mic for dual purpose. Radio & some Voice work like a small vocal studio i want a studio mic and i was thinking RE-20 OR PR-40 any thoughts?

  • @kravron The topic of microphone selection is very opinionated. I use a Sennheiser e815S but the only reason I use it is because I got it for free. However, I think that making a large investment (like the RE-20) for you first microphone is a mistake. I would recommend getting something much more simple to start with. How about an SM58 or SM57? Industry workhorses.

  • Great videos! You really took the idea out of me; I never found the time to make informational ham radio videos but wanted to. Now I have to go find a new youtube niche lol.

  • @sterwing Thanks man! Glad to see that you're an engineering student as well! Hoping to get a radio club at Gonzaga U in Spokane, WA where I go to school. Love to get in touch with you on the HF sometime.
