Great trailer for a great film. This is one of those classics I'd never really gotten around to seeing. Then a couple years ago I finally saw it and it was even better than I heard.

When Rocky 1 played in the theatres, people were standing and cheering at the end. That's how inspiring this movie was (and still is)! Rocky's training regime, including drinking raw eggs became the fad. I did it (and I'm a girl LOL). We attempted and I think succeed in capturing the essence of Rocky 1 in our entry in the Virgin Radio Fake Film Fest. Check out "Rocky in 60 Seconds" on our channel and please vote (instructions in the description.) Thanks!

gone are the times when movie doesn't mislead the audiences with the trailers with some fanciful few moments, when the trailers actually do tell a story and despite showing the good stuffs already, there are still more to offer in the actual thing!

Rocky > Ragingbull
I can't believe some people who call themselves "critics" can critize this movie and keep sleeping soundly at night. This movie (and series) is legendary it's not just showing one man's search for success and achievement, but it shows the common man's constant race for dreams and desires. It proves we are all human and we can relate to one another and a film representing that deserves 100% +. Those who have the guts to critize Rocky are simply inhuman.

No offense to Sylvester Stallone or Roger Ebert, but it is kind of hard to believe that when this film came out back in 1976, that Roger Ebert critiqued Sylvester Stallone as being "the next Marlon Brando." Well, as Stallone's career went on, mostly everybody saw that that clearly wasn't gonna happen. The fact is, is that there is only one Brando, one De Niro, one Pacino, one Newman, one Hoffman, one Olivier, and one Nicholson. And I guess there is only one Stallone.
