@littletootpilot 116CNCs? Not many of those were made. The 116CNC had a Fanuc 0 controller. A few were made with Fanuc 16s, both were limited and had a crude way of generating summaries into part programs. The 450HCs on the other had used 150MMC and 160i controllers which were far superior. The 116 machine seen here is a mechical marvel. No programs of any kind. Setup could take hours though and was all done with change gears and manual swinging base settings. Much more elegant.
i miss the days of working with the gleason 116 machines did that from about 10 yrs and then went to the gleason 450 cnc also enjoyed working with the cnc 116s those were the days.
