Watch the reaction of the guy in top left corner of the frame when Billy makes his comment.
The refs should have given themselves a "T" for handing a microphone to Billy Tubbs in the heat of the moment like that. After all I'm sure they had already heard him say over the years, what did they expect him to do?

@TusPapi Who cares what happened in the regular season? No one cares about or remembers that. What people do remember is Danny and the Miracles not Billy Tubs and the disappointing Sooners.

Yeah..I remember the game...the officiating was a complete joke that first half..OU went lights out shortly afterwards. We were way too great and talented to had not won the title in '88..Still leaves a bitter taste in my mouth.

Billy Tubbs, my hero!! While at OU I had to interview a coach for a class, most chose high school coaches, but I decided I'd try for Tubbs...he didn't know me at all but was more than happy to help out a student. I will always respect him for that.
