Last year General Motors debuted two beautiful new roadsters, the Pontiac Solstice and the Saturn Sky. Both cars received praise for their inspired design, but for many, the hard lines and chiseled angles of the Sky were thoroughly captivating. But beauty isn't everything. A car like the Sky needs to drive as well as it looks, and that's where the Redline comes in. General Motors has taken the well-behaved Sky and injected it with some serious performance.

Under the hood, GM has fitted the Sky Redline with a 2.0 liter, turbo-charged Ecotec engine that cranks out a whopping 260 horsepower and 260 pound feet of torque. That's a lot of horses for this little roadster, in fact, GM claims that pound for pound, this is the most powerful engine in its lineup. And it shows, especially off of the line, where the Red Line jumps to 60 miles per hour in just 5 and one-half seconds. But that's not all, the Sky Redline is also ready to corner with a four-wheel independent, performance tuned suspension, 18 inch alloy wheels, and in case you get in trouble, GM's Stabilitrak system is there to help get you back on track.

  • The Saturn Sky is a Head Turner on the road. Lets face it this is one of the best looking 2door roadster ever put on the road.

  • Great looking car

It's just that I'm too tall for it

    I'm 6'31/2" tall

But I have a 1986 fiero gt that I can fit in

And it's big enough for a set of golf clubs or one full size suit case and two back-packs

Only problem is the slow out-of-date 2.8 v6

  • Put the solstice next to the Sky and you will note there not the same thing. I have the 07’ redline and I love it! People stop to look at it all the time, I guess I like the attention. If your looking at getting one but on the fence I can tell you I have no regrets, its fast fun and comfortable. its replacing my Sebring convertible…I know I know no comparison but it’s the truth.

  • Lol, Saturn Sky, And Pontiac Solstice are like 100% same thing.

  • @Jbeanerscafe

    and i drive a 1988 camry

  • ok just so you guys kno.

OPEL IS OWNED BY GM AND SO IS DAEWOO

  • its also the GM DAEWOO G2X, its a clone of the opel gt

  • wow this music is retarded

  • actually the top is pretty easy to work with , is really no biggie , one person can do this easliy, but then again , yes, would be nice if were like slk, but HEY! look at the price!

  • I'm definitely keeping mine , still the sexiest car around my town

  • What is everyone going to do?

    Saturn & Pontiac are GONE.

    I blame GM (Government Motors)

    Are you going to keep?

    Or sell?

    Take a poll
