Last year General Motors debuted two beautiful new roadsters, the Pontiac Solstice and the Saturn Sky. Both cars received praise for their inspired design, but for many, the hard lines and chiseled angles of the Sky were thoroughly captivating. But beauty isn't everything. A car like the Sky needs to drive as well as it looks, and that's where the Redline comes in. General Motors has taken the well-behaved Sky and injected it with some serious performance.

Under the hood, GM has fitted the Sky Redline with a 2.0 liter, turbo-charged Ecotec engine that cranks out a whopping 260 horsepower and 260 pound feet of torque. That's a lot of horses for this little roadster, in fact, GM claims that pound for pound, this is the most powerful engine in its lineup. And it shows, especially off of the line, where the Red Line jumps to 60 miles per hour in just 5 and one-half seconds. But that's not all, the Sky Redline is also ready to corner with a four-wheel independent, performance tuned suspension, 18 inch alloy wheels, and in case you get in trouble, GM's Stabilitrak system is there to help get you back on track.

  • The Saturn Sky is a Head Turner on the road. Lets face it this is one of the best looking 2door roadster ever put on the road.

This car is beautiful to look at and fun to

  • it should have a govenor at 65 mph, this asshole is always weaving in and out of cars on i-95 where i live and he never fucking gets caught.

  • You can tell this reviewer doesn't drive anything but heavy ass American cars.

  • I ended up buying an 2006 Infiniti G35 over this but simply because it had a back seat. Plus the V6 sound is addicting. But regardless this is still a damn good car.

  • @PAOHMONGYANG S2K is slower but I'd rather have the S2K as well. Can't deny that it's sexy and gonna be reliable as hell. Way more ways to modify it too.

  • @Jbeanerscafe I agree, better looking then its twin by far!

While im not much of an American car lover nor owner, I do admit that the Sky is one of the best looking 2 seat roadsters available, and not to mention one of the most cheapest to own. Id take one of these anyday over the Solstice or Boxster

  • s2000 over this anyday

  • We just bought one..Onyx Black..a definite keeper !! They sure turn heads..

  • It's not an automatic top... so basically it's for a retired old man or a dude in his late 40s going through a midlife crisis, and cant afford a porsche.

  • You can take your Sky Redline to any GM dealership, and have them add GMs turbo upgrade kit. You keep your factory 100,000 mile warranty, and the upgrade gives you 290hp, and 340 ft/lbs of torque. The Kappas chassis is incredible, but GM put shit tires on the cars from the factory. Swap out to serious rubber, and its a hell of a car.

  • xaxaxaxax M A L A KA = ASSHOLE FUCKING CAR...THIS IS SHIT-CAR
