The song is a statement of love for our country. Basically, it translates,

I sing in a Male Voice Choir, and we have chosen to include this one in this year's repertoire, after having heard a Welsh choir's beautiful rendition of it in late 2010. There were a number of choirs singing (both separately and in unison) at a concert near Winchester, and this one surely grabbed us. Beautiful.

This gave me goosebumps! My grandfather too came from the mines of Wales to the slate mines of Poultney Vermont. I have a wonderful CD of the Poultney Welsh Choir of which he was a member. His brother, the director. I treasure it.

beautiful. I will be travelling to Wales next week and wanted to find a choir concert to attend, but was unsuccessful. I suppose my cd will have to suffice!
