I think people without the worries of money/home/job/stability seem to transplant the importance of those elements onto the more mundane issues in their lives. thus Paris Hilton freaks out if she cant get the shoes she wants or a movie star storms off set cause their latte is cold. To them, that is the end of the world because its the worst thing that could happen in their lifestyle.
