Losing my Religion: A Cry for Help. This was the topic of a lecture delivered by Dr. Jeffrey Lang at the University of Montreal on October 26, 2007.

Dr. Jeffrey Lang was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut in 1954. He grew up in a Roman Catholic family but became atheist by the time he was 18. In the early 80s, however, he converted to Islam and since then, he has been an active and influential voice in Islamic Circles throughout America.

Dr. Lang is currently a Professor of Mathematics at the University of Kansas in the US.

  • The Disbelievers

[2:6] As for those who disbelieve, it is the same for them; whether you warn them, or not warn them, they cannot believe.

[2:7] GOD seals their minds and their hearing, and their eyes are veiled. They have incurred severe retribution.

Unfortunately what he says will fall on deaf ears - the Muslim establishment have their backwards, repressive and anti-modern interpretation and the youth are asking themselves how on earth is it relevant to their life. Why hang around in a religion whose adherents act in a fashion which is a knee jerk reaction to people and traditions outside the faith.

  • may allah reward him and may allah guide all non muslims amiin.

  • Home schooling prevents losing your children. A community home schooling itself will save itself.
