Vangelis Conquest of paradise (cover)

My version of Vangelis' majestic masterpiece. The arturia cs80V that pops up in the video wasn't actually used for this track. I used the ESQ1 to re-create the lead sounds. I am trying to get my head around software and soft synths at the moment so it's only for show....for now lol! Heres the list of what did what.
Microkorg and Juno 106 -bass
Korg x5 - choir and pizzicato
Juno 6 - arpeggiator
Juno G- piano percussion and strings
Ensoniq ESQ 1- CS80 lead and sequencer

Hi Mick. Can't believe I've only just found this! AMAZING! You have incredible talent and your love for Vagelis' music really shines through in all the pieces of his that you've done.

I have a couple of questions.. I just got Arturia's CS80V. I see you're using it on this piece. How do you like it? I've not had time to play with it yet and was wondering if you had any pointers.. Also, I'd love to know what you're using for the choir parts. They sound really amazing.

@hdprice Hello and thankyou! I have to admit I did not use the arturia cs80v in this track, I just included it in the video because it looked good! I don't like the cs80v to be honest, I can't seem to recreate Vangelis sounds on it. I use ensoniq esq1 hardware synth from 1985 to recreate cs80 brass sounds. The choir is from a korg x5 synth, it does wonderful choir sounds. there is also an x5d which are very cheap to buy. thanks for listening, don't give up on the cs80v:)

I dont speak french but I get the hint of your reply. I understand in a way why you would say that, but the video is only a way to show the work I did in recreating the music. I dont claim to be a good keyboard player, or have 5 pairs of hands! The 150 keyboards you mention are necessary to build an atmosphere of the original . Even though I do not play all the keyboards in the video I have played them all while recording the track

@Raoul697 T'es musicien peut être ? Arrêtes de critiquer l'incriticable ! Tu sais même pas le boulot que c'est de régler chaque oscillateur, chaque filtre de ces synthés pour avoir les bons sons afin de les exploiter.... D'en plus, comment tu crois que vangelis a composé tous ses morceaux ? Il jouait peut être également avec un seul doigt et pourtant tu n'oseras jamais le ridiculiser !
