  • Purely political theater brought to us by the republicans. 8 years of Bush and they did absolutely nothing and all of a sudden they're all in an uproar to "get things done". Give be a break, I was'nt born yesterday.

  • What Brooks and Shields are both saying is that one party is unacceptably bad and the other is worse. We get the government, budget, deficit and debt we continually elect.

  • The deficit wasn't "compounded" by Walker's tax cuts to his cronies, it was CREATED by them.

  • Saying families in the private sector pay more for their healthcare in a non sequitur argument, the families in the private sector are going BANKRUPT because of medical costs!!!

Our country is goin bankrupt because of the privatized medical costs!!!

    This argument is completely bogus

  • @hellorodney Hey but thats also some spin because we spend more money on structures than anybody else. We spend HUGE money on football stadiums for schools which is being counted "school spending" when its really just construction spending for politicians friends companies. We need to spend more on the actual EDUCATORS[teachers/principals] and far less on construction. Get the class sizes down & have a greater expectation from our students& teachers

  • @PeeDopeRecords ~~> Well Said...

  • Young people from every State should PHYSICALLY go to Wisconsin and support the protestors. Do it. It's YOUR country. It's YOUR future.

  • Now that (R) have started the assault on unions & the middle class, former enemy #1 Pres Obama is being called upon to be the hero & save their futures. IMO (D) should sit & allow (R) to unleash their plan for the middle class so the American people will finally realize there are only 2 class of people in America - the haves & have nots. Only when the illusion of security & superiority is stripped away will the so-called middle class unite w/the poor & fight for their just due.

  • VOTE in 2012 KIDS. When you do vote, remember the comments made here by Republicans and the political right about your freedom of speech and freedom of assembly to protest. If you are too lazy to vote, these people will make the laws and determine the changes to the Constitution under which you and your children will have to live the rest of your lives. CONTACT YOUR CONGRESS PEOPLE AND VOTE!

  • Spending cuts? Ryan, and the republicans talk about 200 billion when we are running a 1.6 trillion dollar short fall in 2011 alone? Pathetic, is this la la land? the dems are no better as a matter of fact, WORSE. Look at Obama's track record. For you Bush blamers, Obama has NOT stopped spending and has RECORD budget shortfalls. Clinton forcing the loans, housing issue started this snowball turned avalanche. I need a break, I think I am going skiing. Hey Barrack can you send me some bailout money

  • @poindexterwitkowsky You're absolutely right, and they should challenge it like that in the supreme court. If corporations are people then so is labor. How do we bring it to court?
