  • Went to that show. Them, Ultra Pulverize, and Venus Trap made the most amazing lineup. And nothing is sacraficed musically live. And I was envious of that shirt the entire time. And I was one of like three people who were sober at that concert lol.

  • their shows must be incredible in person! Wish they would come to Fort Myers

  • @ericwindmill i too, am a musician. i rap. i'm just mentioning that because i'm not trying to be biased towards punk music in louisville. i never said everyone hates wax fang or mmj and they don't have a good following. i just said as far as my friends are concerned... that's it. anyway. i'm tired of the hardcore music scene and wish it would die off. i'm also tired of going to shows in louisville and seeing people who look at you retarded if you don't like what THEY like. not my scene.

  • @ericwindmill exactly. i'm born and raised Ky. i've lived 20 minutes from louisville most of my life. and been going to shows since i was 14. i know what the music scene is like in louisville. it doesn't shock me that you would mention "metal". it's hipster shit. if you don't listen to indie hipster music or screamo/grindcore/deathmetal/metalcore whatever, in louisville, you're not 'cool'. i'm real tight with Black Sunday who are a punk band, and it's sad that punk is completely dead here.

  • @ejyounggun08 is that why jacket damn near sold out the yum center? you must not know many people or be an idiot if you think jacket OR wax fang are hated in louisville or are metal or melodic hipster music (whatever the fuck that is). there's a pretty strong thriving hardcore scene as well as rock scene. shit i even know people who go play local hip hop shows and DJ show weekly. don't move into a city and assume you know everything about it. thats what 15 year olds do...

  • @mbownehook of course you'd mention My Morning Jacket. it's all about personal preference, but i know more people who thinkg MMJ are shit than I do who like them. i don't have anything against Louisville. i recently moved there. i just find it hard to go along with so many bumper stickers i see in the Ville "support local music" when most louisville music is metal and melodic hipster bullshit. but i am a massive advicate of Kentucky music as a whole. the likes of Black Sunday, Kelsey Waldon...

  • @ejyounggun08 don't diss the the Ville this is where we were born and raised or at least I was we have many great bands My morning Jacket, Wax Fang, many more and this sounds better onthe album

  • I take lessons with this guy he hgelps me with my stuff

  • you guys have got to be shitting me? Wax Fang is terrible. the vocalist sounds like a leprechaun....of course, they're from Louisville...all there is in the Ville anymore is melodic hipster bullshit and metal horseshit.

  • Wax Fang, My Morning Jacket, Ronald Jenkees...the best are from Louisville!

  • They remind me so much of Meat Puppets.

  • Incredible!
