I don't understand how they are still in business! I am having a hard time getting my name removed from their website. That is from a poem I sent them about ten years ago. Many people in the same situation have contacted a lawyer.

1. the Better Business Bureau designated them as a "vanity publisher" meaning they cash in on people's desires to be recognized for their accomplishments.

2. there was an ABC news report where they got 40 2nd grade kids to send in poems and every single one of them "won", there poems were intentionally bad .

Success in the Art of poetry means recognition.There are very few paid published poets and there is always an investment of time and money.Recognition comes after publication.Poetry is the WRITERS' hobby and it has many rewards for those who appreciate it and write.For those who don't agree with me there is no reason to use deragatory remarks or abusive name calling.You just simply don't have to participate.Many poetry contest have entry fees.That's how editors offset their publication/Ad costs.
