The new Crossfit dot com WOD. it calls for a 24" barrier, all i had was a 26". Tough on the forearms.

  • how many reps of the shovel do you do before you switch hands? does it matter if you do all the reps with the same side being dominant the entire time?

  • i just tried to keep it even on each side. first 30 i tried to keep it 15/15. then i had to go i fives. forearms got fried quick

  • Thanks for showing this vid.

    One tip: try doing your push ups in a plank. If you look at your lower back, it doesn't rise to the same level as your upper back. Instead, there is a bend in the middle of your spine that keeps everything down to your toes from rising as high as it should. From your ankle to your shoulder, you should hold one solid line if you can. Looking at your body, it looks like you shouldn't have trouble doing that.

  • You feel any strain in your lower back on this one? Looks tight the whole time, I struggle with it on this exercise (I get loose and get the low back involved). Solid effort.
