The age of religion is fading away with the close of the Age of Pisces, welcome then the Age of Aquarius...What's the difference? The Age of Pisces is about "believing" and the Age of Aquarius is about knowledge or "I know". Each age lasts about 2160 years or so. We are at the cusp of that change right now!

I must respectfully disagree with your thesis regarding violent intolerance. Though you quote passages from the Quran that do indeed bespeak violence, I was informed these passages are akin to a code of ethics regarding the defense of kin and faith during war. If violent intolerance is advocated, as you so claim, then I doubt that the Ottoman Empire would have respected the sovereign right of Jewish & Christian to worship freely. Have you tried speaking to a Muslim about these passages?

I am not a huge fan of the bible either, but I just realized that the Koran is very short compared to the full bible. The Koran seems to make very clear statements and repeats itself over and over again about the infidel and hell and punishment. Jesus although probably fake, said tons of interesting things, and told stories to meditate on. Does the Koran have the same? I know the Koran is a terrible plagiarism from the Bible, but a boring one too. Thoughts?

@isthattrue212 In terms of its literary value, in my opinion, the Koran is also bad. The Bible has perhaps a little more entertainment value than the Koran but not much really. There's more to the Bible than meets the eye, however. Jesus did say some interesting things that ordinary interpretations can't fathom. Sometimes it's better to start from scratch than to try to pick through a million broken pieces in search of the truth.
