I have been wanting to get this video completed and put out online for some time now and so here it is. This is my three section composite fiberglass kayak that I designed and built that can be taken apart or put together in two minutes without tools. This makes it simpler to store and transport as you will see in the video. The boat was built the same way a composite aircraft is built. Very light and strong. I named the kayak Tri-Yak (because of the three sections) only to find out after I had completed it that the name is being used by another kayak company. So my use of the name Tri-Yak will have to be changed if (That's a big "IF") I should ever mass produce my design. Anyway I hope you enjoy my video of my latest project and I would appreciate any feedback you have on my efforts. Thanks!

  • Nice job, well done, are the tongues and grooves frp too and if so were they machined after initial lay-up?

  • Very nice job. I'd finished a sectional SOF kayak too, but your connection is much more secure and safer.
