Way overcontrolled operating here. Release your grip on the gimbal to just two or three fingers (that's all you need if you are balanced properly) and your shots will be much smoother & you will keep your horizon more easily.
While it is not as easy on Glidecams with their (generally) awful arms (compared to Tiffen or CP), but a more relaxed control hand will make a big difference to your shots. I use an HPX500 on an EFP & Master Steadicam often & think the camera does a great job!
